Dr. Srinivasan was named the Resident Director of the Blackland Research and Extension Center, effective Sept. 1, 2020.
Dr. Raghavan Srinivasan (Ph.D., Purdue University), who also serves as the Director of the Spatial Sciences Laboratory at TAMU, models transport of pollutants to assess surface and ground water quality impacts, develops Internet-based tools using GIS and remotely sensed data, and integrates data into spatial information systems. Manages training and educational outreach for use of GIS and application of natural resource and hydrologic models for water quality and land use change. He is a member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers and the American Water Resources Association.
