Responsible for purchasing (purchase supplies, equipment, and services required in agricultural research), accounting (process payments to vendors and reimbursements to employees in a prompt and efficient manner), and processing travel reimbursements (travel reimbursements to agency employees and payments to vendors for travel related expenses). I strive to encourage and effectively promote the utilization of Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB vendors). I have specialized training from the State of Texas Basic Public Purchasing, Inc; Travel Processing and Payments; National Institute of Governmental Purchasing, Inc; General Service Commission.
