Ph.D. Student (Agronomy)

Pulkit Juneja is a Ph.D. student in Agronomy whose research integrates remote sensing, crop modeling, and machine learning to better understand and improve corn production systems. He uses drone-based hyperspectral and LiDAR data to estimate crop growth parameters. In addition to working with aerial data, he conducts field experiments to study management driven system responses on crop yield, resource use, and soil carbon, using crop simulation models to understand both short-term performance and long-term system impacts
