Dr. Wei Mao is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Texas A&M AgriLife Research specializing in hydrology and environmental modeling. His research focuses on the development and application of hydrological models to improve the understanding of water movement, freshwater systems, nutrient cycling, and related environmental processes across landscapes and watersheds. His work integrates surface water, soil water, and groundwater processes, with particular interests in nitrogen dynamics, water quality, ecosystem health, and sustainable water-resource management.
